Q2 2024 Snapshot: Top Theme Parks Apps in the Global Market

In Q2 of 2024, several theme park apps demonstrated varied performance on the unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Disneyland® Paris saw a decline in both downloads, starting at 692K in the first week of April and ending at 333K in the last week of June, and weekly active users, which decreased from 1.68M to 1.18M over the same period. Despite a brief revenue of 1M in the second week of June, the app's revenue was not a focus.

Europa-Park & Rulantica maintained a relatively stable download and active user base, with downloads peaking at 127K in early May and active users reaching a high of 153K in the same month.

Port Aventura experienced an upward trend in downloads, increasing from 59K to 178K from April to June. Weekly active users also increased significantly, from 90K to 241K by the end of the quarter.

Karls showed a modest presence with a peak of 100K downloads in early May and a decrease to 15K towards the end of June. Active user data was not available for Karls.

My Disney Experience demonstrated consistent revenue throughout the quarter, ranging from 13M to 17M weekly, while downloads and weekly active users saw fluctuations with downloads starting at 18K and ending at 6K, and active users peaking at 87K in mid-April before dropping to 10K by late June.
